Key Accountabilities

1. Oversee the daily functions of the marketing and business development department to ensure the proper execution of work procedures in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
Conduct market research, monitor market demands, and pinpoint projects that align with the company’s objectives.
Take charge of marketing visits, create presentation materials, and establish connections with key individuals from potential clients.
Participate in and support exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events like Golf Day.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Mechanical, or Naval Architecture
Training in marketing and business development practices
A decade to a decade and a half of experience in the marine or Offshore Industry or prominent oil or EPC companies, including at least three years in a comparable role
Familiarity and expertise in a shipyard or offshore construction facility with vessel conversion and fabrication capabilities
Thorough understanding and experience working with EPC contractors, oil companies, and clients globally
Established connections with EPC contractors, oil companies, and clients worldwide
Previous experience in a similar role at a respected shipyard or offshore fabrication facility
Acquaint yourself with technical jargon associated with offshore and new construction operations.
