About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CRM Associate to join our growing team at Baraka. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our customer relationship management activities. Your main focus will be on driving customer retention, engagement, and satisfaction through the implementation of effective CRM strategies. As a CRM Associate, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute CRM campaigns and initiatives that align with our business goals. You will also analyze customer data and behaviors to identify opportunities for improving customer experiences and driving business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CRM strategies and initiatives to enhance Baraka’s user engagement, retention, and loyalty.
  • Maintain the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer data, and oversee data management processes and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and growth to develop and execute CRM campaigns and initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Analyze customer data, trends, and behaviors to identify opportunities for improving customer experiences and drive business growth.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis of CRM activities, campaigns, and customer journeys to measure effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Segment customer databases based on various criteria such as demographics, behavior, and engagement levels to tailor marketing and communication strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create and optimize personalized, data-driven campaigns and communications across multiple channels (email, SMS, push notifications, etc.).
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the fintech sector and apply that knowledge to enhance CRM strategies and operations.

What we look for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a CRM role with a B2C fintech or Startup in the MENA/GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and data management best practices.
  • Familiarity with the fintech landscape, products, and customer behaviors in the GCC region.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, such as Clevertap or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
